Dancers compete in the American Rhythm division. Dances in this category consist of the cha cha, rumba, swing, bolero and mambo. With the exception of swing, which began in America, these sultry, sexy dances originated in Africa and Cuba. At the end of the episode, the judges will announce the winners in this category.
