A writing desk made by one of the original Mormon pioneers; a mid-19th-century shotgun; and an 1851 first edition copy of The Pearl of Great Price.
In Salt Lake City, Utah, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW host Mark L. Walberg is joined by ROADSHOW appraisers Leigh and Leslie Keno for a tour of what may be the largest antique furniture store in America: EuroTreasure Warehouse. Highlights include: a writing desk made by the owner’s great-grandfather, Robert Nell, one of the original Mormon pioneers; a mid-nineteenth-century shotgun passed down from the owner’s great, great grandfather, an employee of the Overland Mail Company stagecoach service; and an extremely rare, 1851 first edition copy of The Pearl of Great Price—the third volume of Mormon scripture—inherited from the owner’s grandfather and valued at $45,000 to $55,000.
