baseball signed by Ty Cobb.
The final hour of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW's visit to Charlotte, North
Carolina, finds host Dan Elias investigating the Mint Museum of
Art's Carolina pottery collection, the largest and most
comprehensive in the country. At the Charlotte Convention Center,
curious collectors mix with eager appraisers, and the discoveries
include a rare and valuable Stickley sideboard of massive
proportions; a lovely Wedgwood fish service dated 1882; and a
family heirloom baseball signed by legendary hitter Ty Cobb and
scoring an estimated value of $10,000 to $15,000.
