President and Mrs. Obama host a concert in honor of Sir Paul McCartney’s receipt of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The event in the White House East Room includes performances by McCartney and Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, the Jonas Brothers, Herbie Hancock, Emmylou Harris, Corinne Bailey Rae, Dave Grohl, Faith Hill, Lang Lang and Jack White, with remarks by Jerry Seinfeld. President Obama presents the Gershwin Prize to McCartney during the event.
