White's novel The Once and Future King , the musical is about the idealized kingdom of Camelot and the love triangle of King Arthur (Gabriel Byrne), Queen Guenevere (Marin Mazzie) and Sir Lancelot (Nathan Gunn). The score features such classic songs as "Camelot," "If Ever I Would Leave You" and "The Lusty Month of May."
