*Five Questions You Need to Know About Mammograms- A new study reported in the New England Journal of Medicine argues that mammograms are not as helpful to extending breast cancer survival rates as we think, largely because treatment has improved so much that early detection is not as critical as it used to be. Correspondent Dr. Emily Senay will tell us what we Need to Know about the new study, and what does this mean for health care policy.
*Interview- Daniel Ellsberg- In anticipation of the PBS broadcast of a new P.O.V. documentary about Daniel Ellsberg, Jon Meacham speaks with Mr. Ellsberg about his decision to release the Pentagon Papers, a secret Pentagon study about how the U.S. government was conducting the war in Vietnam.
*Interview- Joe Pantaliano, Fighting the Stigma- With mental illness awareness week beginning next week, award-winning actor Joe Pantaliano (best known as "Ralphie" on "The Sopranos") tells Alison Stewart how he turned a diagnosis of depression into an opportunity to help others. Through a non-profit organization and documentary, both called "No Kidding? Me 2!" Joey speaks about removing the stigma still attached to mental illness.
*Anti-Social Behavior- With all the attention being given to Facebook as the film "The Social Network" debuts this weekend, Need to Know explores the notion of trying to get OFF Facebook through a New Yorker trying to disconnect his life from Facebook, and to Rotterdam (via Skype) to meet three men who run a company that will remove you from all connections to it.
