Election 2008: Tough decisions for undecided voters in the swing states.
With roughly eight million more female voters than male, women may
be the most crucial voting block in this year's election. Senator
Hillary Clinton and Governor Sarah Palin have undoubtedly changed
the debate for many women voters, but the question is: How will
they ultimately respond in the booth? NOW ON PBS travels to
the swing state of Colorado to get insight from a diverse group of
women. They share surprising opinions, concerns and reservations
about the two men running for president, and how Clinton and Palin
have influenced their decision. NOW also interviews former vice
presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro.
The NOW on PBS website (
www.pbs.org/now ) will include an
extended interview with Ferraro; women voters sharing their
specific concerns; and an interactive map that reveals ballot
initiatives at stake in each state.
