On May 9 and 10, PBS will premiere a two night event under the overarching theme of “Armed in America,” furthering the national conversation around American guns. The two-night event centers around two new Independent Lens films, “Peace Officer” and “The Armor of Light,” with America After town hall discussions following each film seamlessly and building off of the content of each film. On May 9 and 10 in primetime, the two films will be packaged with the town halls included, for a 2.5 hour footprint both nights, with live social media overlays.
