In July 2005, pianist Menahem Pressler and the Beaux Arts Trio
celebrated their 50th anniversary by re-creating their triumphant
public debut, which took place on July 13, 1955, at the Berkshire
Music Festival, now known as Tanglewood. The anniversary
performance, recorded in Auer Hall at Indiana University's Jacobs
School of Music, features three of Beethoven's cherished trios: the
C Minor, Op.1, No. 3, "The Ghost," Op.70, and the "Archduke," Op.
97. The program also includes exclusive interviews with the trio, a
peek at a rehearsal and historical recordings and photographs.
