Audra McDonald, renowned for her virtuosity in classical and Broadway song, brings her talents to new genres.

This performance, part of Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, features Audra McDonald, joined by Nellie McKay and Patti LuPone, in a dynamic exploration of songs by contemporary singer-songwriters. The program features works from McDonald's newest album, Build a Bridge , by such artists as Neil Young, Elvis Costello, Nellie McKay, Rufus Wainright and Adam Guettel. Ted Sperling, McDonald's longtime music director, leads the instrumental ensemble.
