Months after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans and the Gulf
Coast, fewer than half of New Orleans'residents have returned and
nearly 10 percent of Mississippi residents remain unemployed. This
special addresses the status of the rebuilding efforts and the
struggles of individuals to piece their lives back together, and
considers how the Gulf Coast that emerges from the damage will
compare to the one that existed before Katrina. NBR co-anchor Susie
Gharib hosts the program, which also features on-scene reports from
NBR correspondents.
